Spicy Tapioca, Sabudana Khichdi, Indian Sabudana Recipes

Sabudana also known as Tapioca makes a great Khichdi.Tapioca khichdi is great for breakfast or as a snack and it tastes delicious.

Ingredients:
1. Tapioca(Sabudana) – 2 cup
2. Green gram(boiled)- 1 cup
3. Tomato – 2 nos
4. Onion- 1(big)
5. Refined oil- 2 tablespoons
6. Jeera – 1 tablespoons
7. Dhania – 1 tablespoons
8. Garam masala- 1 tablespoons
9. cucumber – 1 no
10. Green chilli – 2 nos

Method:
1. Gently wash then soak tapioca (sabudana) in about 1/2 cup of water.
2. Heat the oil in a frying pan on medium heat.
3. Add cumin(Jeera), dhania , add green chilies and stir for a few seconds.
4. Add the tomato and stir for few mins.
5. Add the soaked tapioca (sabudana) and stir fry for 3 to 4 minutes
6. Add the boiled green gram and salt and stir for 3 – 4 mins.
7. Add Garam masala, sliced cucumber and serve.
