Meat with Mustard Green (Lai Xaak) মাংসৰ লগত লাই শাক

1kg meat cubes(lamb,buff,chicken)
500 grams fresh Mustard green(Lai Xaak),washed,cleaned and torn

1kg meat cubes(lamb,buff,chicken)
500 grams fresh Mustard green(Lai Xaak),washed,cleaned and torn in small pieces
1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
1 tsp Garlic paste
2 tsp Ginger paste
2-3 Green Chilies
1 tsp Turmeric Powder
Red Chilly Powder (op)
1 tsp Cumin powder
3 Onions,made into a rough paste
2 green chili,slit
Salt to taste
2 tablespoon mustard oil

Marinate meat in salt, cumin, turmeric, and chili powder for an hour.
Heat oil in a heavy pot or pressure cooker.Add the mustard seeds and let them splutter
Add onions and saute till brown.
Add the meat,ginger and garlic. Saute few mins till browned.
Cover and cook on low heat/pressure cook until tender.(add water if required)
Once the meat is cooked ,increase the heat to medium, and add mustard greens in batches.
Let each batch of the greens wilt down before adding another batch. Add the green chilies.
Increase the heat to high to evaporate the excess liquid.
(Do not over cook the mustard greens)
Remove to a dish .Serve with rice.
