IILISH MAAS BHAPOT DIYA (STEAMED HILSA)

INGREDIENTS:-
1)4 pieces ——- Hilsa fish (Iilish Maas)
2)5½ cup——— Mustard seeds
3)3 nos ——— Green chillies
4)½ tsp ——— Turmeric
5)2 tbsp ———- Mustard oil
6)– ———- Salt ( to taste)
METHOD:-
* Soak the mustard seeds for 15 mins in Luke warm water before grinding.
* Then grind together mustard seeds and green chillies to a smooth paste along with a pinch of salt.
* Marinate the fish with a pinch of salt and keep it aside.
* Mix turmeric powder with the mustard paste.
* Smear a pressure cooker separator container with little mustard oil then place the fish pieces in the bowl in one single layer.
* Pour the prepared mustard paste over it so that it covers all the fish pieces nicely and and 1 tbsp or more of mustard oil on them.
* Cook in pressure cooker for 2-3 whistles.
* Remove serve with rice.
