CRISPY CHILLY BABY CORN, A very popular item from the Chinese menus in India

PREPARATION TIME:- 15 mins

INGREDIENTS:-

1)125 g   —— Sliced baby corn
2)2 tbsp  —— Corn flour
3)1 tbsp  —— Ginger-Garlic paste
4)1 tbsp  —— Tomato sauce
5)1 tbsp  —— Sesame oil
6)1 no     ——  Capsicum
7)1 no     ——  Onion
8)2 tbsp   —— Chilly powder
9)1/2 tsp  —— Soy sauce
10)2 tbsp —— Vegetable oil
11) —        —— Salt

METHOD:-

* Peel the onion,quater it and separate the layers,keep aside.

* De-seed the capsicum and cut into square shapes.

* In a bowl mix baby corn, corn flour, half ginger-garlic paste, half chilly powder and salt.

* Heat oil in a pan, deep fry the baby corns to 3-4 mins till brown.

* Heat sesame oil over high flame, add onions, remaining ginger-garlic paste, capsicum and saute until onions turns to soft.

* Add tomato sauce, soy sauce, remaining chilly powder and salt, mix well.

* Add the deep fried baby corns and cook for a couple of minutes till the baby corns are well coated.

* Remove and serve hot.
