The Tawang War Memorial in Arunachal Pradesh, India was built in memory of soldiers of the Indian Army who gave up their life in the 1962 Indo-Sino War (India-China War). This is a fitting memorial for the greatest sacrifice anyone can offer. The Tawang War Memorial or ‘Namgyal Chorten’ was built in memory of the martyrs of the 1962 Indo-Sino war and is located just below the Sela Pass, about 25 kms from Tawang. The names of 2420 Indian soldiers are etched on granite plates.
