There will be 36 public holidays, restricted holidays 30 days and half holiday will be 2 days. Also one day can be declared by public holiday by district commissioner of respective district.

On account of Ali-Aye-Ligang there will be full Holiday for the Districts viz. Dhemaji, North Lakhimpur, Sonitpur, Tinsukia, Dibrugarh, Sivasagar, Jorhat, Golaghat, Majuli, Charaideo and Biswanath Districts (Total 11 nos. of District). There will be Restricted Holiday in respect of other Districts for the occasion.
